Background
We don't know anything about Nugget before we got him. The only thing we really know is we got him from a barn in North Carolina. When we got him we were looking for a horse for Emma, a client at our barn, and we went to look at him. When we got there the lady said if Emma bought him she would outgrow him very soon,but that she had a different horse for us to look at. Meanwhile Mrs. Heather still had her mind on Nugget. Mrs. Heather had a 13 month old baby girl at home. This baby girl, Alyx, was (believe it or not) HORSELESS! Mrs. Heather had fallen in love with Nugget already and had decided on the perfect child for Nugget, her very own daughter!
So, on the very day of March 19, 2006, Alyx, exactly 1 year, 1 month, and 9 days, received her very first pony!
Nugget is now partially retired ( only good for walking and trotting ). He lives out the long days in the pastures getting fat and being loved on by a little girl named Rylee Jo.
